..."Roomancer" moove online provides a terrific tool called DecoMaker (requires DirectX 9, download is available here ). With the help of DecoMaker you can now easily create carpets and decorations yourself. DecoMaker can be found in the moove "Shop" --> "Developer" tab....
In order to create decoration and carpets you need DecoMaker. This tool can be found in the moove "Shop" --> "Developer". Start DecoMaker by double clicking file "DecoMaker.exe" which should be placed in your moove Roomancer installation folder (usually c:\moove or c:\rose in case of long time users).. At first please pick what you want to create: decoration or carpets. Click on "Mode" and then select"Carpet" or "Decoration"....

Sashly Wow! Where do I begin. Back in 1999 I think I started using Roomancer and Rose 3D. After that I was completely hooked. I was hooked so much that I started to study the 3D environments and met a lot of great friends online. I did this for quite some time. After learning how to make the designs and textures for the actors, I started to create my own actor Sashly. I then developed a web site with tutorials. I truly enjoyed it. I found myself making wedding plans for others, invitations, wedding gowns, the tuxedos, everything. It went on from there. It was one of the highlights of any of my online adventures. I am sitting here, now returning after all this time, looking at the printed tutorial book I made back in July of 2001. Some things have changed, and I think the improvements are great! I like the enviroments, especially how user friendly it has become for others to design their own homes. I still have to say that Roomancer far exceeds other programs....

To do this, you need to click on the "Room" symbol in the menu bar - as already known from inserting furniture - and then on "Doors". Here you can choose the door design you like best. Click on "OK" to open another window, called "Create a door". Here you will see a list of all rooms of your house. Click on a room name, and your new door will be linked to the room you chose. The door will appear in the room you are in at that moment. You can move the door - as already known from decorating with furniture - to the spot where you like it best. Just try it out: Double-click on the door and you will be transported to the linked room immediately!...
Click on "Room" in the menu bar. In the following window, click on "Room Painter": the room painter will open. Now you can unleash your creativity! Move your cursor over the small colored window - you will notice that the cursor changes into a pipette. As soon as this happens, you can press the left mouse button, hold it, and drag the paint to a wall in your room - voilà, you have just painted the first wall of your moove house! Congratulations!...
Don't hesitate, play around as much as you like, choose the settings for your new room. Just try it out! Give your new room a pretty name and click on "OK" - you will have created a new room! At the same time, a window will open, asking you if you want to update your room data on the community server. If you click on "Yes", the browser will request the room list from the server. In the window that will open you can enter a description for your new room, for example 'Photo Gallery', informing visitors about the content of the room immediately. You can also set if the room should be hidden (i.e. visitors can't see it), "open for all", or only for those "over 18". This way you can easily direct your visitors to the relevant rooms. Important: The visitor needs to have installed the respective room. For example, if you have a room with the type "Bungalow", your visitors needs to have this room as well....

Unfortunately, as in any other social environment, there will always be people who seek their personal enjoyment in harassing and disturbing other members. moove will not tolerate this kind of behavior. We will always try to contact such members first and do our best to give them a second chance. If the harmful behaviour persists, however, moove reserves the right to enforce a temporary or permanent ban from any or all public rooms. You will find the backup of the room in a subfolder of rose\backup\, if you make a backup of the kitchen for example, you will find file "Kitchen.Roombackup" in folder rose\backup\MediumRoom_West\ (because the kitchen is based on MediumRoom_West). If you would like to create a package of the kitchen, you would now use moovepack to locate file "Kitchen.Roombackup" by clicking on the "Browse" button besides field "Backup File". Last not least put the name of the room ("Kitchen" in this example) in field "Room Name". You will not have to check box "Include ROM file" unless you built this room on a ROM file that was not installed by moove, but by a 3rd party....
